About Greenmill Brewery

Greenmill Brewery was started by Mat, Phil and Yvonne Wild. It is situated in the old McGuinness Brew house at the rear of the Cask and Feather, Oldham Road, Rochdale.
Our first brew was produced in July 2007 with the help of Dave Porter the brewery installer.
Our aim is to create quality ales using traditional ingredients.

Green Mill's Big Chief Wins Gold

Big Chief, our 5.5% premiun bitter won Gold at this years SIBA national beer competition. For a brewery of our age and size this is a fantastic achievement!

New Prospect Inn Halifax wins Camra pub of the season

The New Prospect won Camra pub of the season in the Calderdale Region. It has Greenmill Gold on sale as a permanent ale plus two Guest ales.

Greenmill gets third prize at Manchester food and drink festival

We have taken third place in the festival with our Special Mild. There were thirty plus breweries taking part with a professional panel of judges selecting the top beers

Big Chief wins Gold at SIBA North Beer Competition

Big Chief beat allcomers to win gold at the Scarsbrick Hotel Southport on Friday (15th Jan). It won Silver at last years competition. Its great to take Gold this year.
